Community is a piece about one of the most special communities I have the honor of being a part of and building, my twitch. I have streamed on twitch for nearly 5 years and since then have shared my art making process live every week. Through this I have got to meet amazing people from around the world and really get to connect with people over art. It has been one of the most special experiences of my life.
I went into this painting thinking about them, I was live. And didn’t initially know what it was but as the colors came together I started to realize it was the representation of my twitch community. The different colors in the piece represent different community members. The blue feels like the vast space of twitch and how we have come together from it.
