Searching for home was painted when I was searching for my first apartment and preparing for the transition from college to life in the “real world”. While looking for apartments I was thinking a lot about how home is not just a place, it is an emotion, it is an intention. I will always have a home, in myself, in my family, in my friends.
I was also envisioning how I wanted this new space to feel and be. Light, safe, inspiring, a nurturing space for my creativity and career.
I hope this paining reminds you that home is a process, it is something you can find anywhere and in anything, it is not always a physical space.
